Kubota Tractor Corporation announced plans for its North American Distribution Center (NADC) to purchase 203 acres in Edgerton, Kansas. The company plans to design and build two, 1 million sq. ft. facilities to expand distribution capacity. In addition, the plan will streamline logistics to improve timely delivery of Kubota parts and equipment to its increasing U.S. customer base.
Kubota officials also announced an additional commitment to Midwest dealers and customers by establishing a fifth operational division and sales office in Edgerton. The expansions could add another 150-200 employees to the 150 people Kubota already employs there.
The new Midwest Div. office complements existing offices in Suwanee, Ga.; Fort Worth, Tex.; Columbus, Ohio; and, Lodi, Calif. It will continue to provide regional support to Kubota dealers. In late 2016, Kubota Tractor Corporation announced a 617,000 sq. ft. expansion of its National Distribution Center (NDC) in Jefferson, Ga.
