This week, B3C Fuel Solutions announced the expansion of its Conway, S.C. based business. This expansion will create 36 jobs at the company’s current facility and include a capital investment of $305,000 over a three-year period.
B3C Fuel Solutions manufactures and distributes environmentally friendly products to solve bio-fuel related problems. Their products are distributed internationally to over 25,000 retailers, including The Home Depot, Tractor Supply, Wal-Mart and their nationwide network of Dealers and Distributors.
“B3C’s expansion in Horry County once again demonstrates that South Carolina is where companies can grow and succeed,” said Gov. Nikki Haley. “We remain committed to providing an environment that fosters innovation and technology in manufacturing and celebrate the 36 new jobs coming to Conway.”
B3C’s expansion marks the fifth Existing Industry announcement for Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation since January of 2012.
“Eighty percent of new jobs created in the U.S. today are generated by existing industries. The EDC is proud to support existing industries and specifically help a locally--grown company grow and thrive here,” said Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation Chairman, Fred Richardson.
“South Carolina continues to lead the manufacturing renaissance,” said Secretary Bobby Hitt. “This year, more than 30 manufacturers have announced expansions in the state, which is a testament to our business-friendly climate that allows existing industry to further grow and prosper.”
“B3C Fuel Solutions’ expansion is further testimony to the Seventh District’s growing economy and business friendly environment,” said Congressman Tom Rice. “I am proud that our area is home to innovative and industry-leading companies, such as B3C. I congratulate B3C on their expansion, and thank them for their continued investment and job creation in Conway.”
With this expansion, B3C will continue the production of its current products including, Mechanic In A Bottle and Ethanol Shield, as well as expand its line with the new Fuel Life technology. This new, state-of-the-art technology is designed to keep fuel completely stabilized and water free, with the power to virtually eliminate the need for liquid fuel additives.
“The B3C expansion continues a record setting trend for economic development in Horry County. Thanks to this fine company for their decision to grow and expand in our community,” stated Horry County Council Chairman, Mark Lazarus.
Earlier this year, B3C’s Gas Tank Shield with Fuel Life technology was awarded the Editor’s Choice Award from Popular Mechanics Magazine for best product at the APPEX show in Las Vegas, NV.
“As a total fuel solutions company, continuous innovation and new product development are the keys to our success,” said Brian Boezi, CEO of B3C Fuel Solutions. “This new technology has the potential to change the fuel additive industry as we know it today by stopping fuel-related engine problems before they start. We are pleased to be expanding our existing headquarters in Conway and appreciate the support of our growth from the local community and state.”
