Charter Software Inc., provider of the Aspen business management system software for agricultural and outdoor power equipment dealers, has added integration to the company’s software to further assist Kubota dealers in managing their inventory. In addition to the ability to access KPAD (Kubota’s electronic parts catalog) and transfer parts orders from the Aspen business system to Kubota, Kubota dealers will now be able to create and upload their parts locator records to Kubota directly from Aspen, allowing participating dealers to view and locate the parts they need to serve their customers. This new functionality, demonstrated to Kubota dealers at the National Kubota Dealer Meeting was available to Kubota dealers in mid-late November.
Online integration with manufacturer’s tools allows dealers to save hours in looking up parts and processing orders. “Our integration with Kubota streamlines their parts ordering and inventory management,” says Charter Software President Anne Salemo. “The ability to see their own parts information from Aspen alongside Kubota’s parts diagrams and being transfer Kubota parts lists to their invoices, parts orders and/or work orders in their Aspen business system saves Kubota dealers a great amount of time,” she says. “Now, with the added ability to access Kubota’s Parts Locator, we can help Kubota dealers create a market for their existing inventory and minimize their on-shelf investment. It is our goal to provide powerful business tools that help dealers reduce costs and increase their profits.”
