Classen Pro Overseeder
The Classen Pro HTS20 hydro-drive overseeder features the industry’s tightest blade placement, providing 13 seed rows in a 20″ swath for a thicker, carpet-like coverage.
The unit’s double-edge double-blade reel spaces the blades a narrow 1.5″ apart to provide greater than 15% more rows of seed than competitive units. Depth can be set in any of 10 settings from 0″ to 1.625″, to attain the proper depth for the seed. This allows for better seed placement to refresh existing turf, establish new grass or tackle a weedy lawn. A 40 lb. capacity floating seed box follows the contours of the terrain —whether it includes bumps, dips or uneven areas — to ensure consistent seed placement and also locks in place for hill or slope seeding. A seed agitator inside breaks up clumps caused by dew and humidity.
The HTS20 features a hydrostatic drive, for smooth power flow in forward and reverse. The 9 HP Honda engine offers operating speeds as fast as 3 MPH forward and 1.5 MPH reverse, and the single-lever forward/reverse controls on the handle make it easy to operate. This allows the machine to cover as much as 26,400 sq. ft. feet per hour.
Classen backs its Pro HTS20 hydro-drive overseeder with a 2-year commercial and rental warranty.
