New From Echo: Three Broadcast Spreaders

Just in time for fall overseeding programs and winter snow and ice applications, Echo Inc. has launched a new lineup of three commercial-grade broadcast spreaders that allow users to distribute seeds, fertilizer, herbicides and even ice melt products quickly and accurately. These spreaders are intended for landscapers, golf course superintendents, athletic field managers as well as parks & recreation and schools. Echo continues to offer solutions for these everyday tasks for both professionals and discerning homeowners.

The three new Echo broadcast spreaders are available in two turf styles and one winter application style. Each has an 85 lb. capacity hopper, a pro-style “T”-handle, 13 in. pneumatic tires and side deflectors to keep materials out of unwanted areas. All three spreaders include a hopper grate and cover to protect materials from the environment.

  • The Echo RB-85 features a powder-coated steel frame for corrosion resistance. It is intended for turf applications like spreading seeds, fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
  • The Echo RB-85S features a stainless-steel frame for superior corrosion resistance. It is intended for turf applications like spreading seeds, fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
  • The Echo RB-85W features a stainless-steel frame for superior corrosion resistance. It also features a salt-specific hopper and agitator as well as four-sided foot defectors that create an operating spread of 2 ft. to 8 ft. to keep salt off landscaped or grassy areas. It is intended for hard surface ice and snow management applications like spreading ice melt and rock salt on walkways.

All Echo broadcast spreaders come with a two-year commercial warranty and five-year consumer warranty.
