GIE+EXPO: UTV Focus

Visitors at the 2014 GIE+EXPO can find a new emphasis on work utility vehicles. In addition to seeing the UTVs on the indoor show floor, attendees have the opportunity to get hands-on with exhibitors offering test tracks in the Outdoor Demonstration Area. GIE+EXPO is set for October 22-24 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

Making the biggest splash, Polaris returns to GIE+EXPO for the second year to showcase three lines of UTVs. After increasing its outdoor space by more than 400% to make room for 16,000 sq. ft. of demo track where visitors can test-drive utility vehicles from the new lines. Additionally, customers can put the complete line of purpose-built, hydraulic and PTO attachments to the test.

“In our first year as an exhibitor, we found GIE+EXPO 2013 to be a great venue to connect and engage with green industry professionals and received very positive feedback from customer demos,” says Aaron Stegemann, Polaris business development manager. “This year we’re providing attendees a demo area large enough where they can get in the driver’s seat of all of our diesel, gas and electric work utility vehicle options.”

Ariens/Gravely is also adding a demo track to their Outdoor Demonstration Area exhibit.

Several additional exhibitors of outdoor power equipment also have UTV lines and are planning to showcase them at GIE+EXPO. These exhibitors include: Cub Cadet, Kubota Tractor, Kawasaki, Bad Boy Inc., Toro, Bobcat Company and John Deere.
