Mantis XP Tiller/Cultivator
The new Mantis XP Tiller/Cultivator is the Mantis alternative to larger, heavier tillers. The new XP brings the same hardworking virtues, versatility and ease of use features of the Mini-Tiller/Cultivator to a wider tilling unit comparable to larger mid/rear tine tillers, at a fraction of the size and weight.
Weighing in at 34 lb., the compact XP utilizes the power of a 35cc Honda 4-stroke engine to spin Mantis’s patented serpentine tines up to 240 RPM—easily busting through sod and the hardest, most compact soils up to 10″ deep in a wide 16″ swath. The XP uses an innovative dual tine bank drive shaft that provides control and maneuverability at a wide cut.
Independently mounted dual tine banks offer the flexibility to go from16″ to a single tine bank width of 9″ in a matter of seconds by simply removing a tine bank from each side. Mantis Tillers dig, till, cultivate and weed without optional tine assemblies or added weight systems. Tines are reversible for a more shallow depth of up to 4″ for cultivating and weeding, and the tines are guaranteed for life against breakage. Like the Mantis Mini-Tiller/Cultivator, the Mantis XP can also power a variety of optional attachments enabling the user to aerate, dethatch, and plow and more with a single unit. The XP’s light weight, compact size, convenient carrying handle and fold-down handle arms make the Mantis XP easy to store and transport, easily fitting into tight storage areas and the trunk of a car. From tilling large, winding beds to turning over entire lawns for reseeding or laying fresh sod, any large tiller job is made easier by the Mantis XP.
