Power Distributors Supports National FFA Convention, Expo

Power Distributors, a national distributor of power equipment, engines, and parts, recently exhibited at the 2023 National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Convention and Expo in Indianapolis, Ind.—which reported over 65,000 registered attendees, including students aged 12-21, and instructors. As the only power equipment distributor exhibiting, the goal of Power Distributors was to support the mission of the FFA by connecting with students and instructors and building awareness of educational opportunities within the industry.

The Power Distributors’ Education and Technical Service Team provided live demonstrations of Briggs & Stratton engines and interactive displays of engine parts, like carburetors and valves. Educators and students received free educational resources and curriculum, including interactive videos to aid with hands-on agricultural mechanic training. In addition, registered visitors had the opportunity to win one of four Briggs & Stratton engines for classroom use. Power Distributors remains committed to supporting organizations such as the FFA that are helping to train and prepare future technicians to support the vast dealer networks in both lawn and garden power equipment as well as ag equipment.
