Illinois-Based Dealer, Russo Power Equipment, Makes More Acquisitions

Last summer, Russo Power Equipment, a Midwest dealership group based in Illinois, began expanding its footprint by acquiring two Indiana dealerships: C&C Distributors in Fort Wayne and South Bend. This was the beginning of their expansion into the Indiana market, as they later acquired Mutton Power Equipment in Fort Wayne in early 2023.

Now, Russo is announcing their newly established Fort Wayne location as they join both teams (C&C and Mutton) under the Russo Power Equipment name at the former Mutton facility. These two experienced dealerships have built a loyal and diverse customer base over many decades, and now, under the Russo brand, have access to an extensive range of top-quality products and services, including Toro, Scag, Exmark, Wright, Echo, RedMax, Stihl, Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, Kawasaki, and others.

While the C&C Fort Wayne location officially closed its doors on July 28, 2023, the C&C South Bend location will continue to operate as a “Powered by Russo” location, alongside other 2022 acquisitions: Porter’s Lawn & Power Equipment (Janesville, Wis.), and Haltom Equipment Co. (Mooresville, Ind.).
